Dallas Muslim Refugee Outreach
Caroline Studdard, is one of our long-term missionaries who formally worked for e3 ministries. Through Caroline we became connected with the ministry of e3 as well! One of e3’s primary focuses is to love on and share Christ with Muslim Refugees. We now send short-term mission trips to Dallas through e3 to reach out with the love of Christ and minister to Muslim refugees!
Over the past year and a half, God has allowed several e3 staff members into refugee apartment complexes in the Dallas area. They do home visits, food distribution and provide monthly 'food pantries' for the refugees. The mission trip that Fellowship participates in includes being equipped further in how to specifically minister and share the gospel with Muslims, put on women’s teas to build relationships with Muslim women, and love on Muslim refugees with each team’s specific gift sets.
They had a lot of bumps and are constantly thinking of creative ways to be in relationship with the Muslim refugees. According to Jay Crenshaw, who heads up the outreach, there are 300,000 Muslims living in the Dallas area! In the apartment complexes that e3 is specifically focused on there are Muslims from 15-countries represented AND over 500-Muslim families are included in that number. This mission trip is truly a tremendous opportunity to reach out through grace, to become further equipped in sharing the gospel, in order to make disciples of all nations!
